Growing up inspired by the enigmatic, dark wave tones of acts such as The Weeknd, A$AP Mob, Mac Miller and RVIDXR KLVN, combined with his affinity for zany, Donald Glover-esque comedy, writer/director John Robb Saunders honed an unconventional duality in his style, focused as much on mystique and steez as it is heart and sincerity.
